Kelly Murray
Having grown up in Yakima, Kelly Murray has strong ties to the Yakima Valley. It was these ties, as well as Ms. Murray’s desire to practice law in a community that she respected, that brought her back to Washington in 2016. With both a law degree and a Master’s in Business, Ms. Murray offers her clients a unique and valuable approach when litigating their cases. She has practiced in a diverse array of legal specialties, including family law, criminal defense, animal law, tenant/landlord law and legislative work.
Ms. Murray was admitted to the Washington State Bar in 2018. Since that time, she has grown a thriving practice focused on family law and criminal law. Areas of focus include, but are not limited to, divorce, separation, custody, child support, minor guardianships, adoption, relocation, domestic violence, restraining orders, DUIs, and general criminal defense. She practices law for one primary reason – everyone deserves representation and justice.
In her spare time, she can be found outside with her dogs and bonus kids. She also enjoys volunteering for local community causes. She previously served on the Yakima County Bar Association’s Board of Directors as its Secretary and on the Board of the Yakima Humane Society as its President. She currently sits on the boards of the Capitol Theater, as Secretary, as well as the board of Josie’s Misfit Ranch. She is also a member of the Junior League of Yakima, serving on its Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee.
